At the Swan

A warm welcome awaits you at the Swan Inn, one of Dawlish’s best-kept secrets.

The pub is only a five-minute walk from the town centre and can be reached by walking to the end of Old Town Street or scenically by following the river path from the seafront and emerging through the Manor grounds to join Old Town Street. Simply turn left as you emerge and the Swan Inn is a one-minute walk away. The walk will be worthwhile when you are greeted by a traditional pub dating from c1642 with the best beer garden in town. In keeping with the traditional pub our aim is to provide and serve to you the very best quality West Country produce, which is good value for money. We believe the same high standards should apply whether you are ordering a sandwich or a full 3-course meal.

The majority of our dishes are homemade and prepared and cooked to order to ensure perfect freshness and highest quality. This includes our traditional Sunday lunches. We care about our customers and only cook using the healthiest oils and ingredients, which is something that is very important to us. Our staff can help with any questions that you may have regarding dietary concerns.

We would recommend that you book early for our intimate Lounge Bar dining area but meals can also be enjoyed in the large beer garden if weather permits!
